How to request account deletion

1. Email info@michuspace.et from the email address on your Michu Space account.
2. Use the subject line: Michu Space account deletion request.
3. Include your full name, username (if any), and the email or phone number linked to the account.
4. We will verify ownership of the account and process the request. You will receive a confirmation when deletion is complete.

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days (sooner when possible).

What is deleted

• Account profile (name, username, email, phone, bio, photo).
• Sign-in credentials and linked social login identifiers.
• Saved studios, drafts, and other personal preferences tied to your account.
• In-app messages and personal content that is not required for other users' records.

What may be retained

Some information may be kept where we have a legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution need, for example:

• Booking and payment records (invoices, transaction IDs, amounts, dates) for the retention period required by law or our payment partners.
• Host listing content you published that other users still need for past bookings (or we may anonymize the host identity).
• Records needed to investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or comply with legal requests.

Retained records are limited to what is necessary and are not used to market to you after account deletion.

Partial data deletion (without closing the account)

You can update or remove many profile fields in the app or on app.michuspace.et. For broader deletion of specific personal data while keeping the account, email info@michuspace.et with details of what you want removed.
